Tuesday...

Let's finish up with last Friday's science day!!!

Part 4

Part 5

Part 6

Part 7

As we finished up our phylo-plankton...we moved on to creating our very own coral reef!  I'm sure you have all had a chance to see those!  They were sent home on Friday! It was a GREAT day of science....I'm glad everyone was able to be here for most of it in spite of the CRAZY weather!

Language Arts/Social Studies

Last week we started talking about what we can do or what traits we need to have to be a good citizen! And one of those is understanding how we elect those people that lead our community and country.  We have learned that voting is one of our freedoms and knowing the candidates and and what they stand for is important in making a decision on who to vote for.  We have been introduced to three characters (candidates) My teacher, Grace and Duck.  We have analyzed their characters traits and tomorrow we will have to pick one candidate to "endorse"!  Each student will have to state three facts about their choice and give one opinion! Each group will then be allowed a minute to try and convince the other constituents to change their vote!  Official voting will be on Thursday!

In math we continue to review and take our CBA.

Lightning Bolt's Adventures with Kate!

Our Super Star Student shared his "new" book about one of his FAVORITE characters!  I couldn't get him to read it to us...so we had to settle for listening to Ms. Guy "UUUUHHHH GAIN"
and his best buddy with the photo BOMB!

JAKE...
my...how he's changing before our very eyes!

I think by Friday everyone will be ready for some down time and SPRING BREAK...(let me know if you are leaving early...)

Let's hope we have some sunny weather...
