Today is going to be short! It's a busy week...Lots to do and not so much time!

Our class mascot, __________ the longhorn showed up today!  We need to name him tomorrow.  Have your little think of  name so we can vote! He will come home with a little on Wednesday's. He will have an overnight bag that will have his journal and a few other things that might be needed!  If you can think of something else that is "needed" feel free to add those to the bag! That little will have him until Monday morning.  During that time, he should participate in family activities, sporting events, bedtime readings, activities that the little is doing! Your little will need to keep a "journal" of his activities!  Pictures are ALWAYS good and then all they have to do is write captions!
After the holidays our newest addition will have a blog of his own that the little will update! SO...GET READY!

Information:

Yesterday I sent home several important things in your child’s folder. 

• 1  Picture envelope.  If you will be purchasing school pictures please look over the order form and send it back with your child and payment if necessary.  Picture day is THURSDAY!
• Scholastic Order Form…You can using the “newspaper” sent home and a check or you can go online and order using a credit/debit card.
•  SPEAR-IT SPRINT packet!  There is a lot of information in that packet…I will hit the highlights!

·        We will have a Color Me RAD station this year.  The ORANGE waiver MUST be signed and returned in order for your child to participate in this part of the sprint! 

·        Each child will get a SPEAR-IT sprint T-shirt and pair of sunglasses to wear on 10/17!

·        I will need to have waivers/donation envelops everything SPEAR-IT sprint back in school on 10/15.

·        If we get donations from all 50 states Mrs. Bustillos and Mrs. Corely will become HUMAN ice cream sundaes…

I WANT that job! LOL

Just a reminder…I will be out on Friday and Monday so if you need to make any changes to the way your child will get home or need to contact your child, PLEASE call the front office.
