Another UH MAZING day!

WoWZErs...today my jaw dropped to the ground at news time! I couldn't get to my camera fast enough to capture everything! But it went something like this...
Me: "okay it's time for news.  If we finish the news quickly I will let you all have a few minutes of free time with legos, blocks, puzzles...because we have been working so hard on our CBA's this week!"
Littles: "YAY"
Me: "Okay, get your newspapers and let's get ready." and then my jaw dropped.  They started setting up the "station". They organized themselves into order of speakers.  Jefferson (director) and Thai (producer) had the ipad and started the whole show!

Once we had completed all segments...Lauren helped to put it all together in imovie (a free app...)
It kind of looks like chaos but let me assure you EVERYONE was doing something on task AND...It's what I imagine a real station to look like just before going on air!!! (Sorry about MY video being SIDEWAYS...)

As the year goes on I hope that the littles will use imovie to create their own movies/trailers about books they are reading! If ANY of you "GO getters" out there want some EXTENSION homework...Let me know I will get a packet of how/what to do for this type project!  I'm pretty sure it will take us showing them how to do it ONCE and then they will be all over it!! Most of them are technology gurus already!

SUPER SPECIAL STUDENT

I so LOVE LOVE LOVE these littles and the things they do everyday!  Thank you so much for sharing your precious one (or two) with me!

I will do my best to be back on track with guided reading next week!  Thank you all for being patient!

Tomorrow I will work on Safety Town  pictures and videos!
Have a great weekend!
