Mrs. Bustillos came in during writing and I'm sure she was just as awed by our great writers as I continue to be! We will continue to work on personal narratives, specifically, SMALL MOMENTS!
During writing we are have been talking about setting that purpose according to genre. Today was the first day I asked them to use a post it and write down their purpose prior to reading! I think the little fireballs did GREAT!
In Math we are working on finding 10 more and 10 than any given number. So we are skip counting by 10 starting any where! We are looking for patterns within our 120s chart!
At the end of the day we celebrated a special fireball's birthday!
